Most of the snow from the January storms has melted other than isolated shady spots and places where it was piled up; however, shortly after the snow ended, the North Lyon County Fire Protection District posted a piece of good advice. I remembered to take a picture of it today on our way back from the post office.

Most of the call-outs in the North Lyon County Fire Protection District are not fires, but medical calls. Indeed, the Chief said, while presenting the annual report to the Board at their last meeting (I attended via Zoom) said, "I sometimes feel like I'm an EMS Chief that sometimes puts out fires."
